Electric and quiet
Every buggy is electric, so it runs near a ceremony or bedrooms without intruding.
No hidden fees
Hire and delivery are shown as separate lines. The quote is the price.
The fleet
Electric buggies, from two seats to eight
Every buggy is electric, delivered to your venue and collected afterwards. Choose by size, or tell us about the event and we will recommend.

2 seater
2 seatsElectricDeliveredA 2 seater golf buggy carries a driver and one passenger. It is the smallest option we hire and the easiest to move around tight spaces, so it suits couples, single-operator site work and venues with narrow paths.

8 seater
8 seatsElectricDeliveredAn 8 seater golf buggy, sometimes called a people mover, carries a driver and seven passengers. It is the largest option we hire and is built for moving guests in numbers on a set route, rather than for general runabout use.

Buying, as well as hiring
We sell the same kind of vehicles we hire, and a few kinds we do not. New electric buggies built to order, from a two seat course buggy up to a twenty-three seat shuttle bus, with lifted models, utility vehicles, UTVs and sightseeing vehicles in between. Every model carries its published specification, including the figures that decide whether it suits your ground.
We also list used buggies for sale, one vehicle at a time, each with its own photographs, its condition and its asking price stated plainly.
Which one you want
Buying tends to be worth it if you would use the buggy more than a few weeks a year, or need it to hand without arranging anything each time. Below that, hiring usually costs less and takes servicing, storage and battery replacement off you. The calculator works it through on your own figures rather than ours.

List your buggy with usHire for your occasion
We work across weddings, events, estates, hotels and more. Each has its own considerations, and we plan the hire around them.

Weddings
Golf buggies are hired for weddings mainly to move the couple and guests between the ceremony, photograph locations and the reception, particularly at country house and estate venues where those points are a long walk apart.

Estates and land
Estates hire buggies to move people and equipment across ground that is too far to walk and too sensitive or awkward for a vehicle. Hire suits seasonal peaks, events and specific projects without the cost of owning a vehicle year-round.

Hotels and venues
Hotels and venues hire buggies to move guests and luggage between car parking, reception, rooms and event spaces, particularly on spread-out sites where the walk is long enough to affect the arrival experience.

Corporate and business
Companies hire buggies as event transport, moving delegates, speakers and kit around conference sites, away-days and business parks, usually where parking sits a long way from the room the session starts in.

Festivals and public events
Festivals and public events hire buggies as event transport, moving crew, artists, medical teams and equipment around a site that is far too large to walk repeatedly, often across grass and often for several days.

Attractions and visitor sites
Visitor attractions hire buggies to move staff, equipment and less mobile visitors around large sites, and to keep operational traffic away from the routes the public walk.

Transport, industrial and logistics
Industrial and logistics sites hire buggies to move staff, contractors and tools across distances that are wasting working hours on foot, on sites where a van is too big and walking is too slow.

Health, education and public sector
Hospitals, campuses, care settings and councils hire buggies to move people who cannot easily walk the distance, and staff who cross the site many times a day.

Media and retail
Productions hire buggies to move crew, cast and equipment around locations and studio lots, and retail sites hire them to move stock and staff across large trading areas and car parks.

Accessibility and event support
Accessible and support hire covers wheelchair-access buggies for mobility assistance, and buggies used by marshals, security and medical teams who need to reach any point of a site quickly.
Read moreGolf clubs and sport
Golf clubs and sporting venues hire buggies for the moments their own fleet cannot cover: a tournament or society day that needs more vehicles than the club owns, cover while an owned buggy is off for repair, and transport for officials, medics and grounds teams across a large venue.
Read morePrivate celebrations
Private celebrations hire golf buggies to move guests across a large garden or grounds, most often from field parking to the party itself, and to help carry furniture, catering and supplies during the setup and the clear-up. The guests who benefit most are older relatives and anyone who cannot manage the walk.

How it works
Tell us about the event
Where it is, the dates, and roughly how many people need moving. If you are not sure how many buggies you need, we will work it out with you.
We send a written quote
Within one working hour, itemised so you can see hire and delivery separately. No obligation, and nothing to pay to get it.
We deliver and collect
We bring the buggies to your venue, set them up, show your team how they work, and collect them afterwards.
What it costs
Price depends on the buggies you need, how long you need them, and how far we travel to your venue. We quote hire and delivery as separate lines so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
We do not publish a headline figure that turns out not to apply to your event. Tell us the details and you will have a written, itemised quote within one working hour.
Where we deliver
We deliver across the UK. These are the towns and cities with their own page so far, and the list grows as each one is written properly rather than generated.

Common questions
The four we are asked most before a quote. Each answer links to the guide it comes from, where there is more detail.
Can you hire a golf buggy for a private event
Yes. That is the whole of what we do. We hire electric buggies from two to eight seats, plus a utility buggy and a wheelchair-accessible one, for weddings, festivals, corporate days, estates, film and television production and public events. We deliver to the venue, set the buggies up, show your team how they work and collect them afterwards.
Are golf buggies road legal in the UK
Most golf buggies are not road legal in the UK and cannot be driven on public roads. They are designed for private land: golf courses, estates, event sites and private grounds. That is why hire buggies arrive by trailer rather than being driven to you.
Read the full guide to road legalityDo you need a licence to drive a golf buggy
On private land you do not generally need a driving licence to operate a golf buggy, because the licence requirement applies to the public road and a buggy is used off it. Whoever drives should still be competent, briefed and old enough, and a venue is right to set its own rules about who drives.
Read the full guide to licensingDo you need insurance to hire a golf buggy
For a hired buggy, insuring the fleet for hire use is the operator's responsibility rather than yours to arrange, and we confirm the position in writing with your quote. Your own public liability cover for the event is a separate matter and worth checking with your venue.
