Buying a golf buggy

Choosing, checking, financing and owning a buggy of your own.

Buying a golf buggy is a different set of questions from hiring one, and most of the advice online answers neither well. The decisions that matter come in a sensible order: what the buggy is actually for, then new or used within that, then electric or petrol, then the size, and only at the end the specific machine in front of you. Buyers who start from a listing rather than from the job tend to buy the wrong vehicle in good condition.

The used market is where most of the difficult questions live. Age matters less than history, batteries matter more than bodywork, and the difference between a bargain and a mistake is usually a set of checks that take under an hour. These guides go through those checks plainly, along with the questions around finance, warranties, delivery, registration and insurance that only appear once you own the thing.

We sell buggies as well as hire them, and the guides link to the current stock where that is useful. They are written to be true whether you buy from us or from somebody else, because the checks are the same wherever the vehicle comes from, and a buyer who knows what to look for is a better customer for everyone honest in the market.
