How golf buggy hire pricing works
The cost of hiring a golf buggy is made up of the hire itself, the delivery and collection, any extras you choose, and VAT. Delivery is priced by road distance from our nearest depot to your venue.

We do not show a single headline figure, because delivery distance is a real part of the cost and would make one number wrong for most events. You see the full breakdown on your quote, within one working hour.
What determines the price
The single biggest factor. A one-day hire and a one-week hire are not four times apart in price, because the delivery and collection happen once either way. Longer hires generally cost less per day.
We price delivery from the depot the buggy actually comes from to your venue, by road, not in a straight line. That is why the venue address matters at quote stage. Delivery is always shown as its own line so you can see it.
More buggies on one delivery is more economical than the same buggies split across two. Size affects the hire rate but not usually the delivery, since it is the journey being paid for.
Trained drivers, a managed shuttle service, custom branding, canopies, extra charging, or delivery outside normal hours. Each is optional and each appears as its own line.
Charged at 20% on the total. Quotes show the figure before VAT, the VAT, and the total, so there is no ambiguity about what you are paying.
What your quote will show
Every quote is itemised. You will see the hire, the delivery and collection, each extra separately, the figure before VAT, the VAT itself, and the total. If a partner minimum hire applies to your dates, that is stated on the quote rather than left in the terms.
Common questions about cost
- How much does golf buggy hire cost in the UK
- It depends on the length of hire, the number and size of buggies, and how far we travel to your venue. We do not publish a single headline figure, because the honest answer varies enough that a headline number would mislead more people than it helped. Tell us your event details and you will have an itemised written quote within one working hour.
- Why do you not show prices on the website
- Because delivery distance is a real and variable part of the cost, and a price that ignores it is not a price. We would rather quote you accurately in an hour than advertise a figure that changes the moment you tell us where the venue is.
- Is there a minimum hire period
- Sometimes, and it depends on which buggy suits your event. Some vehicles come from partner depots that apply a minimum hire, which can mean a week is charged even for a one-day event. Where that applies to your quote we tell you explicitly, on the quote, rather than leaving you to find it in the terms.
- Do I pay a deposit
- For most bookings yes, with the balance due before delivery. The amounts are set out on your quote before you commit. For larger events we can arrange instalments.
- Is delivery included in the price
- It is included in the total but shown separately, always. We think you should be able to see what the hire costs and what the travel costs, rather than have them blended into one figure.
If you are still deciding what you need, the buggy sizes page explains which suits which kind of event, and how hire works covers delivery and collection.
