Golf buggy hire for hotels
Electric buggy hire for hotels, resorts and venues. Move guests between car parking, reception and rooms. Delivered and collected across the UK.
Hotels and venues hire buggies to move guests and luggage between car parking, reception, rooms and event spaces, particularly on spread-out sites where the walk is long enough to affect the arrival experience.
For a hotel the buggy is part of the arrival, and arrivals set the tone for everything after them. A guest who has parked a long way from reception and walked it in the rain with luggage has already formed a view before anyone has said hello.
Hire rather than purchase suits the pattern most venues actually have: demand concentrated around a wedding season, a conference programme, a refurbishment that closes a car park, or a summer where the site is busier than the rest of the year justifies owning a vehicle for.

What venues need to plan for
The arrival route
Map the actual journey a guest makes, from where they park to where they check in to where they sleep. The longest leg is the one the buggy should serve. It is frequently not the one people assume.
Luggage
Guests arriving at a hotel almost always have bags, which changes the seating maths. A 4 seater carrying two guests and their luggage is full. Factor that in or you will run more trips than you planned.
Who drives it
Usually your staff, which means training and a rota. We show your team how it works at delivery. For busy periods a trained driver from us can be simpler than pulling someone off another job.
Peaks, not averages
Size the hire for check-out morning and the wedding arrival, not for a quiet Tuesday. The whole value is in handling the moments when everyone moves at once.
Charging and storage
Overnight charging needs a socket and somewhere sensible to leave the buggy out of the way. Worth settling before delivery rather than on the day.
Which buggy suits this
The 6 seater handles guest movement with luggage well. Step up to the 8 seater if you are clearing a car park in waves.
Venues we are asked about
Planning guidance for hotels and venues at specific venues: the grounds, the distances and which buggy suits. We are an independent hire company and not affiliated with any of them.
Common questions
- Can we hire buggies just for our busy season
- Yes, and that is one of the most sensible reasons to hire rather than buy. Tell us the period and we will quote it. Seasonal hires are usually far better value than a purchase that sits unused for months.
- Can our own staff drive the buggies
- Yes. We show your nominated staff how to drive and charge them at delivery. It takes a few minutes. If you would rather not manage a rota during a busy period, we can supply trained drivers instead.
- Are they quiet enough for a hotel environment
- Electric buggies are considerably quieter than petrol, which is why we hire them. That matters near bedrooms, during ceremonies and around outdoor dining, where a petrol engine would be intrusive.
- Can a buggy carry guests and luggage
- Yes, though luggage takes seats. If you are moving arrivals with cases, plan on fewer passengers per trip than the seat count suggests, or consider a larger buggy. We will factor it in if you tell us the pattern.
