How golf buggy hire delivery works

We deliver the buggies to your venue, position them where you want, check they are charged and working, and show your nominated person how to drive and charge them. We collect at the agreed time afterwards. Delivery is priced by road distance from the nearest depot to your venue.

Key takeaways

  • Delivery, set-up and collection are all included and arranged around your day.
  • Your venue needs suitable access for a delivery vehicle and somewhere to charge for longer hires.
  • Ground conditions are worth flagging early, since they affect which buggy we send.
  • You do not clean or return anything, we collect from the venue.

What happens on delivery

We bring the buggies to your venue at the agreed time, position them where you asked, and check they are charged and working. Then we show your nominated person how to drive and charge them. It takes a few minutes and it is worth doing properly rather than rushing.

For an event, the timing of delivery matters as much as the fact of it. We agree a window that gets the buggies in place before you need them, without them sitting idle for hours beforehand.

What your venue needs

Three things, and all three are worth checking early. Access wide enough for a delivery vehicle to reach the drop point. A sensible place to unload. And, for any hire longer than a day, somewhere to charge, which usually means a standard socket that is actually reachable.

Some venues restrict vehicle movements during events, so it is worth asking yours about delivery and collection windows before you book.

Ground conditions

Ground is the thing that most often changes a plan, and it is much easier to solve before the day than on it. Firm paths and maintained grass are straightforward. Heavy mud, steep banks and rutted ground are not, and they affect which buggy we would send.

If your route crosses anything other than firm level ground, tell us at quote stage. We would rather advise you properly than deliver something that struggles in front of your guests.

Common questions

How is delivery priced
By road distance from the depot the buggy comes from to your venue, there and back, for both delivery and collection. It is shown as a separate line on your quote so you can see it.
Do I need to be there for delivery
Someone should be, so we can show them how the buggies work and agree exactly where they go. It does not have to be you, but it should be someone who will be involved on the day.
Do I have to clean or return the buggies
No. We collect them from your venue at the agreed time. You do not need to clean them or take them anywhere.
