The battery, the wheels and the options change the figure enough that a headline price would be wrong for most buyers, so we price the vehicle you actually want, delivery included.

About the 4 Seater Golf Buggy
Four seats is the size most buyers settle on, and this is the plain version of it: two forward facing benches under one canopy, on the same running gear as the two seater with a longer chassis under it. The wheelbase grows from 1670 mm to 2420 mm, the turning radius from 3.1 m to 4.5 m, and everything else stays where it was.
That extra 1.4 m of turning circle is the trade. It is the difference between a buggy that will come about inside a courtyard and one that needs a three point turn to do it, and it is worth walking the route before deciding. What you get for it is the ability to move a group rather than a pair, which on a wedding or a site tour is usually the whole point.
Where a 4 seater earns its keep
- Wedding and events venues shuttling guests in pairs and fours between car park, ceremony and reception
- Golf clubs where two players and their guests share a buggy
- Estates and parks running staff and visitors along made paths
- Sites where a two seater would mean two trips, or two buggies
What it will not do
- The 4.5 m turning radius rules out some older courtyards and walled gardens. Measure the tightest turn on the route before ordering.
- Range drops to 70 km from the two seater's 80 km, because there is more vehicle to move. Fully loaded and on hills, plan on less.
- Both benches face forward, so all four passengers get on and off at the sides. If you want the back pair facing rearward with a flip seat that folds into a load bed, that is a different model in the range and worth asking about.

Questions about the 4 Seater Golf Buggy
- How many people can a 4 seater golf buggy carry?
- Four adults, two on each bench, both facing forward. That is the seating the vehicle is built and belted for, and it is not a figure to round up: a fifth passenger perched on a knee is how people come off buggies.
- What is the difference between a 4 seater and a 2 seater golf buggy?
- A second bench, 760 mm more length and 750 mm more wheelbase. The motor, controller, battery and charger are the same. In use the differences that matter are the turning radius, which goes from 3.1 m to 4.5 m, and the stated range, which falls from 80 km to 70 km.
- Is a 4 seater golf buggy road legal in the UK?
- No. It runs to 20 km/h and is built for private land. Using one on a public road means a type approved and registered vehicle, which is a road legal vehicle rather than this one.
- How much does a 4 seater golf buggy cost?
- We quote rather than publish a figure, because the battery, wheels and options move the price enough that a headline number would be wrong for most buyers. Tell us what you need and we will price it in full, delivery included.

Not sure whether to buy or hire
As a rule, buying wins if you would use it more than a few weeks a year or need it available without arranging anything. Below that, hiring usually costs less and takes the maintenance off you. The calculator works it through on your own numbers rather than ours.
