Electric golf buggies for hire

We hire electric buggies from two to eight seats, plus a utility buggy with a load bed and a wheelchair-access buggy with a ramp. All are delivered to your venue and collected afterwards.

The right size depends less on how many people you have and more on how far they need to go and how quickly. If you are not sure, the 4 seater suits most situations, and we are happy to talk it through rather than sell you more buggy than you need.

Choosing between the sizes

Seats are the simple part: two for a couple or a single worker, four for a family or a small team, six or eight for moving groups. The part people miss is the ground and the pattern of the day. A buggy that shuttles guests continuously between a car park and a ceremony does a different job from one that waits between a handful of runs, and a larger buggy is longer and needs more room to turn, so oversizing costs you space for seats you never fill.

If you are moving a known number of people to a schedule, the how many buggies calculator works it through properly: distance, group size and turnaround, rather than a guess.

Why the fleet is electric

Electric is quiet enough to run beside a ceremony or through a marquee, and there are no fumes around guests, food or animals. There are also far fewer moving parts than a petrol engine, which is part of why the fleet spends its time working rather than being fixed.

The trade-off is charging, and it is a planning question rather than a problem. A buggy charges overnight from an ordinary socket and runs through the day. At a permanent venue that is straightforward. On a marquee or festival field there may be no socket where the buggy parks, so it gets planned in with whoever supplies the power, and our guide to charging at your venue covers exactly what to arrange.

What every hire includes

Every hire is delivered on a trailer, set up at the venue, handed over with a walk-through of how the buggy works, and collected at the end. Nobody needs to tow anything. The fleet is maintained by our own repair centre, the same team that services customers’ buggies at the Repair Centre, so the buggy that arrives has been looked after by people who fix them for a living.

Quotes are written and itemised, with hire and delivery as separate lines, within one working hour.

Buying rather than hiring

If the buggy would earn its keep year round, buying can make more sense than hiring. We sell electric golf buggies as well as hiring them, listed individually with photographs, specification and the asking price stated plainly, and the hire or buy tool compares the two on your own numbers.

Questions about the fleet

Are all your hire buggies electric
Yes. Every buggy in the hire fleet is electric, from the 2 seater to the 8 seater, including the utility buggy and the wheelchair-access buggy. Electric runs quietly enough for a ceremony or a marquee, produces no fumes around guests, and charges overnight from an ordinary socket.
What size golf buggy do I need
Start from the job rather than the headcount: how far people need to go, how quickly, and in what groups. The 4 seater suits most situations. For moving larger groups on a schedule, the 6 or 8 seater does the work of two smaller buggies, and the calculator on our tools pages works the numbers through for your event.
Do electric buggies need charging during a hire
Usually a buggy charges overnight from an ordinary supply and runs through the day. At a permanent venue that is simple. On a marquee or field site there may be no socket where the buggy parks, so charging is planned in with whoever supplies the power, and we tell you what the buggy needs before the day.
Can I buy a golf buggy from you instead of hiring
Yes. We sell new and used buggies as well as hiring them, each listed individually with its own photographs, specification and asking price. If you are weighing the two up, the hire or buy tool compares them on your own numbers.
