How golf buggy hire works
You tell us about your event, we send an itemised written quote within one working hour, and if you go ahead we deliver the buggies to your venue and collect them afterwards.
You tell us about the event
Where the venue is, the dates, and roughly how many people need moving. The venue address matters more than people expect, because delivery is priced from our nearest depot to you. If you are not sure how many buggies you need, say so and we will work it out together.
We send a written quote within one working hour
Itemised, with hire and delivery shown as separate lines so you can see what you are actually paying for. It comes from a named person you can reply to. There is nothing to pay to get a quote and no obligation attached to it.
You accept, or you ask us to change it
Change the dates, the number of buggies, the sizes, or add a trained driver, and we will reissue. Most quotes go through at least one revision and that is entirely normal.
We agree the delivery detail
Where exactly to drop the buggies, what time, who will be on site, gate codes, parking, and anything about the ground we should know. This is the stage that decides whether the day runs smoothly.
We deliver and set up
We bring the buggies to your venue, position them where you asked, check they are charged and working, and show your nominated person how to drive and charge them. It takes a few minutes and it is worth doing properly.
We collect afterwards
At the agreed time. You do not need to clean them or return them anywhere. If something went wrong, tell us, because we would rather know.
Common questions
- How far in advance should I book
- For summer weekends and peak wedding season, as early as you reasonably can. Availability is the constraint, not our capacity to organise it. For quieter periods, a few weeks is usually comfortable. If your date is close, ask anyway rather than assume it is too late.
- What happens if the weather is bad
- Electric buggies cope with rain. The thing that actually causes problems is the ground, because saturated grass and soft going are far harder on a buggy than the rain itself. If the forecast turns, contact us and we will talk through whether the plan still works.
- Do you need anything from the venue
- A sensible place to unload, access wide enough for a delivery vehicle, and somewhere to charge if the hire runs over a day. We will ask about all three before delivery. It is worth checking with your venue early, since some have restrictions on vehicle movements during events.
- Who is responsible for the buggies during the hire
- You are, as the hirer, for the period of the hire. That is set out plainly in the terms rather than buried. We will talk you through what that means in practice, including damage and what is covered, before you commit to anything.
