Seasonal and planning

Planning buggy transport through the year, from peak summer weddings to winter, wet weather and festival season.

Golf buggy hire has a sharply seasonal shape. Summer Saturdays are the scarcest thing we sell, festival season concentrates demand into a few weeks, and winter and midweek are comparatively open. Booking early matters far more in June than in November.

Weather is the other half of it. Firm grass in July and saturated ground in October are different propositions for the same vehicle, and a route that works in the dry can be the wrong plan after a wet week. These guides cover how far ahead to book by season, and how to plan around ground conditions you cannot control.

The practical consequence is that the two things worth deciding early are the date and the ground. A summer Saturday at a popular venue wants booking months out; the same buggy on a Tuesday in February can often be arranged in a week. And a route across lawn that is fine in July may need rethinking in October, which is a conversation to have when you book rather than in the week before.
