A standard socket in a garage, outbuilding or barn is usually enough to charge overnight, and for a single evening party a buggy delivered fully charged will often last the night without a top-up at all. The thing to confirm is where the buggy will stand overnight if the hire runs across a weekend, and that the socket is reachable without a lead trailed across a lawn people are walking on. We will settle that with you before delivery rather than leaving it to the night.

  At a private party the drink question is sharper than at most events, because the host and the guests are often the only people on site. Decide who drives the buggy and make it someone staying sober, or take a trained driver from us so the question does not arise. Yes, and home parties are common for us. We deliver, show you how it works and charge it, and collect afterwards. Tell us the layout, the parking and how late the party runs, and we will size and equip the hire to suit an evening rather than a daytime event.

Is it safe to use a buggy in the dark?

With lights and a sober driver, yes, and it is safer than guests walking dark ground late in the evening. Tell us the party runs late and we will make sure the vehicle is lit and sized so nobody waits at the end of the night.

Can we charge the buggy from our house supply?
