Four wheel drive utility vehicles with hydraulic tipping beds, for work a buggy cannot do.
A UTV is not a golf buggy with rough tyres, and the difference is worth being clear about before anybody spends money. These run 72V and 15 kW where a lifted buggy runs 48V and 4 kW. They drive all four wheels in real time rather than two. They brake on four hydraulic discs rather than rear drums. And they carry 340 to 500 kg on a bed that tips hydraulically, against roughly 100 kg on a buggy with a box bolted behind the seats.
That makes them the right answer for a narrower set of jobs than a buggy, and the wrong answer for most of the rest. If the work is moving people, a buggy does it better and for less. If the work is moving weight across ground that is genuinely rough, in quantity, and tipping it out at the far end, nothing else in the catalogue comes close.
Neither is road legal. Four wheel drive and 45 km/h are capability, not approval: using a public road needs European type approval and a registration, which only the road legal two seater carries. Both UTVs are private land vehicles.
