About the Utility Vehicle Long Bed
Same running gear and same 500 kg rating as the short bed, with 800 mm more bed. At 1800 mm it takes fence posts, timber, ladders and pallets that simply overhang the shorter one, which is the entire reason to choose it.
The cost is 740 mm of overall length and 380 mm of wheelbase, on the same 4.5 m turning radius. On an open site that is nothing; through a stable yard it is the difference between one manoeuvre and three.
