This is the higher geared two seater: 25 km/h against the standard buggy's 20, and a 30% climb against 25%. It trades range for that, at 55 km on a charge rather than 80.
Two vehicles in the range carry two people on turf tyres, and this is the one geared for ground that is either long or steep. The gearing that gets it to 25 km/h and up a 30% slope is the same gearing that costs it range, so it covers 55 km on a charge where the standard two seater covers 80.
That trade is the whole decision. On a compact site the extra speed saves seconds and the lost range costs a mid-afternoon charge, which is the wrong way round. On a long estate drive or a course built across a hillside it is the other way round entirely.
