Waddesdon is a grand house set above a Victorian parterre, with the Aviary, the rose garden and woodland walks radiating out across roughly 200 acres of grounds on a hill. The distances between the entrance and parking, the manor and the further garden features are enough that guests walk sustained distances on made paths.

For a wedding, a corporate event or a private function using more than one part of the grounds, those distances and the climb up to the house are what a buggy is there to shorten, particularly for guests who cannot comfortably walk them.

The approach and garden circulation are largely gravel drives and paths with lawned terraces, and the site sits on a hill, so there are gradients between the entrance and the house that an electric buggy handles comfortably.
