Newbury Racecourse is a large course and conference site west of our depot, with three grandstands and two principal enclosures. Between parking, the enclosures, the parade ring and the indoor event rooms, guests and delegates cover real distance, which is where guest transport earns its place on a busy day.

About Newbury Racecourse

Newbury has three grandstands, the Premier and Grandstand enclosures, more than 600 parking spaces on site, and a large stock of conference and syndicate rooms used for events away from racedays. The distances between those parts of the site are what make transport worth planning for.

For raceday hospitality, conferences of up to around a thousand, and private functions in the grandstand spaces, a buggy shortens the walk between parking, the enclosures and the indoor rooms, particularly for guests in formal dress or anyone who tires on a long day.

Access and getting around

The concourses and parade-ring areas are largely hard-surfaced, with grass enclosures and the turf track, and the ground is broadly flat. As a working racecourse, Newbury sets its own operational and safety rules on vehicle access, which are agreed with the venue.

Grass enclosure and parking surfaces vary with the weather, so the useful thing to plan is the route across firm ground.
