Between the grandstand, the parade ring at the rear, the separate enclosures and the car parks, guests cover long distances on foot, which is why guest transport is often planned in for hospitality days and private events here.

About Ascot Racecourse

Ascot occupies a site of roughly 179 acres, with a grandstand around 480 metres long and separate enclosures set around the course. On a raceday the distances between the parking, the enclosures and the parade ring are considerable, and at the largest meetings the site holds tens of thousands of people.

For hospitality, corporate days and private functions using the grandstand suites, moving guests across that scale is a real task, and it is the kind of task a buggy is well suited to, particularly for anyone who cannot comfortably walk the full width of the site.

Access and getting around

The public and hospitality areas are largely tarmac and paved concourses with grass lawns and the turf track, and the ground is broadly level. As a working racecourse, Ascot sets its own operational and safety rules on where any vehicle may go, so routes are agreed with the venue rather than with us.

A full day of trips across a site this size is worth sizing the hire for, so there is charge in hand by the last runners.
