Why the details matter

A golf buggy hire goes wrong in only a handful of ways, and nearly all of them are knowable in advance. The ground turns out to be softer or steeper than expected. A gate is narrower than the buggy. There is nowhere to charge on the second day of a multi-day hire. None of these is a problem if we know beforehand, and all of them are if we do not.

So this checklist is not box-ticking. It is the short list of things that, told to us at quote stage, let us send the right vehicle and price the job accurately. The more of it you can answer, the better the quote and the smoother the day.

Where a fit matters, such as a tight gate, we ask you to measure rather than guessing from a published dimension. We do not publish vehicle sizes, because the honest check is your gate against our vehicle, done before the day, not a number on a page.

Common questions

What do you need to know to give me a quote

The venue address or postcode, the date and hours, roughly how many people move and whether they go all at once or steadily, and the route the buggy runs. The ground and access matter too: tell us if any of the route is grass, wet or steep, and if there are tight gates or restricted unloading. The checklist above turns your answers into exactly what to send.

Will a golf buggy fit through my gate or access

It depends on the gate, so the honest answer is to measure it. Tell us the narrowest gate, doorway or path the buggy must pass, in metres, and we will confirm the vehicle fits before the day rather than finding out on delivery. We do not publish vehicle dimensions, so we check the fit against your actual measurement instead.

Do you need power on site to charge the buggy

For a single day, usually not: the buggy arrives ready. For a multi-day hire, tell us whether there is a standard socket near where the buggy is kept overnight. If there is not, say so and we will plan the charging around it rather than assuming a socket is there.

What if my ground is wet or uneven

Ground is the single most common thing that changes a plan. If the route crosses grass, gets wet, or has slopes, tell us and send photos. It affects which buggy we send, and occasionally what we would advise. We would rather work it through honestly at quote stage than send the wrong vehicle.
