The Jungle sits at the bottom of a steep combe reached by a boardwalk, the productive gardens are at the top, and the walk between them defeats a proportion of visitors. The upper gardens and estate tracks are level and made, which is good going. The combe down into the Jungle is steep and boardwalked, and that is emphatically not buggy ground, which is worth saying at the outset rather than in the small print.
